What type of products do you sell through your store? +

We stock the latest brand new and refurbished iPhones, iPads, Samsung Phones, Tech Accessories & Gadgets.

Can I see photos of the specific device that I purchase? +

We have thousands of devices in stock and as such we do not have individual images of every device. Our grading photos are samples that represent the make/model and approximate cosmetic condition you will receive.Each device will have a product condition description and a grading i.e. AS NEW, EXCELLENT or GOOD. This grading and description will be consistent across all of the devices we sell.

Device Condition

What does refurbished mean? Do you use genuine parts? +

All our devices are pre-owned but also refurbished. Meaning that our devices are used but they are genuine devices that have undergone rigorous testing and are covered under our warranty.

Put it simply, we do not disassemble devices and replace parts with non-genuine ones.

Change of mind policy - Refurbished Devices +

Each refurbished device is backed by our standard Warranties and Terms, along with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within the first 30 days, please contact us to request a Return Authorization Number and detailed return instructions. Upon receiving and inspecting the device, we will process a full exchange.

Please note that express shipping fees are non-refundable. If you prefer a refund instead of an exchange, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Change of mind policy - Brand New Products +

If at any time within the first 30 days from purchase date you change your mind regarding the purchase of your Brand New product, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation Number along with instructions on how to ship your item back to us.

Please note, a restocking fee of 20% will be charged if the package has been opened or damaged and warranty terms apply. Express Shipping fee is not refunded on returned items.

What if I have a problem with the device? +

All brand-new products are covered by a full Manufacturer Warranty, which protects against manufacturer defects (excluding any physical or liquid damage).

Our Oz Tech Deals refurbished products come with a 24-month warranty against defects.

Before returning a device for warranty service, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number along with instructions on how to return your item.

Warranty and Returns Policy

The Oz Tech Deals warranty and return policy will be void in the following instances:

• Cracked screen or physical damage

• Water damage

• Tampering with software

• Unauthorized repairs (third-party repairs)

• Failure to take reasonable steps to prevent product quality deterioration

• Abnormal product usage

Important Notes

• We do not take responsibility for returned items until they arrive at our store, so we strongly recommend using tracking and/or insurance for delivery.

• We will not accept a returned device that is iCloud or Google locked. If your device is account locked, we will notify you to remove the lock. If it remains locked after five business days, the device will be returned to you.

• The IMEI must match the one originally shipped. Returns will not be accepted if the IMEI does not match.

What’s the battery health on a Refurbished Device? +

We have a rigorous testing procedure in place to ensure each device passed for sale has a battery capacity that meets with manufacturer specifications.

We do not categorise our devices by battery capacity as they are categorised by cosmetic grading i.e AS NEW, EXCELLENT, and GOOD. But rest assured, our devices are fully functional.

Please be aware, Manufacturer's specifications advise that devices with a battery health above 80% is acceptable.

Please note, the battery is also covered by 12-Month Warranty and we offer a 30 days Satisfaction Guarantee on our devices.

What comes with the device? +

Your item is securely packed in white generic box and is accompanied with a USB Charging Cable and Wall Charger.

Brand New Devices are all shipped in original manufacturer packaging with original accessories.

Am I able to track my package? +

Absolutely. Once your order has been shipped, your tracking number will be emailed to you.

On-Site Tech Repairs

Where can I get my device repaired? +

We come to you. Our Apple-certified technician travels to your home or workplace for on-site repairs right across Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs — including Rowville, Knoxfield, Ferntree Gully, Wantirna South, Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Mulgrave, Scoresby, Endeavour Hills and Narre Warren North.

Most repairs are completed on the spot in 30–60 minutes. Prefer to drop in? You can also visit us directly in Lysterfield. Just book online or request a free quote and we'll confirm service availability in your suburb.

Do you use Genuine Parts? +

Yes, we use both Genuine and High-Quality Aftermarket parts. Customers can choose the option that best suits their needs and budget. Genuine parts ensure original performance and feel, while our premium aftermarket parts offer excellent quality at a more affordable price. We’ll always explain the differences so you can make an informed choice before the repair.

Does the screen repair come with warranty? +

Yes, all our screen repairs come with a Lifetime Warranty, whether you choose a Genuine or High-Quality Aftermarket screen. The warranty covers any defects or malfunctions related to the part itself. Please note that it does not cover physical or liquid damage caused after the repair.

How long is the warranty on battery replacement? +

We offer a 6-month warranty on all battery replacements. This warranty covers any faults related to the battery’s performance or quality. However, it does not cover physical or liquid damage, or issues caused by using non-genuine or low-quality charging accessories.

Do I still need to pay if my device cannot be fixed? +

No, you won’t be charged for unsuccessful repairs. We only apply a small fee if the device needs to be shipped back to you, to cover the return postage and handling costs. Our goal is to provide transparent service with no hidden fees.

What warranty do you offer on other repairs? +

All other repairs, including camera, charging port, microphone, and speaker replacements, come with a 12-month warranty. This warranty covers any faults related to the part or workmanship but excludes physical or liquid damage.

Will my device remain waterproof after the repair? +

Most modern smartphones are rated IP68 water-resistant, not fully waterproof, and even manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, and Google don’t cover water damage under warranty. After the repair, we ensure your device is properly sealed and reassembled to the same standard as the manufacturer to maintain its water resistance. However, we always recommend avoiding direct exposure to water after any repair.

How long does a repair take? +

Most repairs, such as screen or battery replacements, are completed within 30–60 minutes, allowing you to get your device back the same day.

Our goal is to provide fast, reliable service while maintaining the highest repair quality.

Will I lose my data during the repair? +

In most cases, your data remains safe. However, for certain issues like motherboard repairs or software-related faults, data loss can occur, so a backup is always advised.

Do you repair all brands and models? +

Yes, we repair a wide range of smartphones, tablets, and laptops — including Apple, Samsung, Google, Huawei, OPPO, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and more.

What if the issue returns after the repair? +

All our repairs come with warranty coverage. If the same issue reoccurs within the warranty period, simply bring or send your device back, and we’ll recheck and fix it under warranty (as long as there’s no new physical or liquid damage).

Can you repair devices affected by software or system issues? +

Absolutely. We handle both hardware and software issues, including system crashes, boot loops, malware infections, and data recovery.
